New Roadmap.
Hi,
This is the new roadmap of the implemented features for the next versions of pmbsd:
TODO before 0.6 "SMP"
- Add support of smp. => NULL
- Use APIC instead of PIC. => NULL
- ACPI. => NULL
- Support for AVR. => NULL
TODO before 0.5 "Network"
- Support for Arm => NULL
- Add TCP/IP Stack => NULL
- Add ext2fs support => NULL
- Add ntfs read support => NULL
TODO before 0.4 "Hello userland world"
- Add a scheduler (if possible tickless) => NULL
- Add an elf loader. => NULL
- Add the user space. => NULL
- Add write on FAT32 => NULL
- Add devfs => NULL
- Add USB stack => NULL syl
- Add Xen support => NULL syl
TODO before 0.3 "Cap to vfs"
- Add a VM86 => NULL syl
- Add a working VM => NULL syl
- Add Objective-C in kernel => DONE syl
- Have a working vfs. => WIP zenol
- Have a fat32 read-only fs. => WIP zenol
- Remove bootloader for only using GRUB => DONE syl
- Use new config => WIP syl
- Finish vdisplay => WIP syl
- Add documentation in the wiki => DONE syl (We can improve this task)
